VPK Voluntary Pre-kindergarten
Must have a VPK certificate from CDS (Child Development Services) Available at the South Dade Government Center, 10710 SW 211 Street; Tel: 305-234-1457
Kindergarten and all other students new to Miami-Dade County Public Schools will need the following before attending class:
- Birth Certificate or legal proof of name
- Health and Immunization Forms
- Child’s Social Security Number
- Proof of residency
Transfers from current Miami-Dade County Schools
Parent or legal guardian must present a valid withdrawal slip from sending school and proof of residency in the parent or legal guardian’s name.
